My Interview: Choosing Life at a Time of Collapse, on The Poetry of Predicament
Yes, I am bringing a child into this world with collapse/extinction at the forefront of my mind.
Intuitive Pregnancy
I surrendered to the deep trust I have of the brilliance of the body to do what it knows intimately how to do --create and sustain the miracle we call life.
My Spin on the Ten Year Challenge
"There is no use in going back to yesterday, I was a different person then." - Alice in Wonderland
Her Legacy: Lessons of Alzheimer's
I am grateful for her surrender to her dis-ease because it allowed me to see her for who she was— not the mask of the defensive personality that she had been wearing for over 70 years on this planet, but her pure essence. I saw her essential expressions shining through. I saw the pure joy, pure strength, pure compassion, pure vulnerability, pure love she held within her. And I loved her evermore. The way she lived with this dis-ease for 10 years proved to me she was truly, unquestionably brilliant. She loved life, and she manifested the life she subconsciously desired.
We Respect Our Children, We Say...
What would happen if, instead of teaching our children to trade in their innate curiosity for a life of attachments that promises to keep them safe, we taught them to look within for the answers? What if we taught them that they are valued, loved, cared for, regardless of their external accomplishments? What if we taught them to question everything, including us? What if, instead of pressuring them to become someone we accepted them exactly as they are? What if we allowed them space to chant, to express themselves creatively, to play without restrictions, to care less about their appearance, to love themselves unconditionally, to love animals and Gaia, to befriend everyone, to trust their instincts, to always speak their truth, to connect to their ancestors, to meditate, to just be themselves? What a wonderful world we would create.

How CODE Model Coaching transforms lives
“I am the first of my long line ancestors afforded the freedom to be able to choose, to create my life in whichever way it is meaningful for me in each unfolding moment. What a gift I have given mySelf — one I am eternally grateful for and intend to honour, as if my life depends on it, because it does.”

Dear Declan: A love letter to my son
“I am choosing to write these letters and post them publicly because I know I am not alone in what I see unfolding “out there”. I know I am not the only mother who is deeply concerned. And… I know that I choose not to hide in the closet, pretending, because there is no power there.”

Transcending A Life of Mediocrity
“What else is possible when you embrace the fundamental lie that plagues our global cultural beliefs? Everything is peachy out there and if you feel anything but numb to all the (utterly indisputable) bullshit, then there’s something wrong with you.”

How this process changes lives
“Today, I know well that the past does not serve me. It helped shape me, it has provided me with an opportunity to learn more about myself, and it does not define me. I know, with every single breath, I can choose choices that serve me, as I am, in this moment.”
